Cleveland Hopkins International Airport (CLE) - Guide to Cleveland (CLE) Airport

The main mode of transport for Cleveland's residents is the car and car hire is readily available. Public transit doesn't go beyond the city limits, so if you plan to venture outside the city, then car hire will be a necessity.

Within the city, Cleveland's public transit is adequate. Five looping bus routes connect central Cleveland with major districts and the Rapid, Cleveland's light rail system, connects the city center to University Circle. There are taxis in Cleveland, but hailing one from the street can be problematic. It is better to call by phone or have your hotel do so in advance.

Cleveland is served by Cleveland Hopkins International Airport, which is located approximately 10 miles south of downtown. The airport is about a 20-minute drive from the city by car and car hire can be easily arranged on arrival. The airport itself is a fully-equipped facility with all the amenities that you would expect from a modern airport.
